Encouraging students from Wales to apply to Oxford

When Access Cymru/Wales came together in 2000, under 4% of applicants to the University of Oxford came from Wales. Access Cymru/Wales sets out to encourage more Welsh students to consider applying for admission to this University. Since it began there has been an increase of a third in the number of applicants from Wales to the University (from 388 in 1999 to 518 in 2003).

Pan sefydlwyd Access Cymru/Wales yn 2000, deuai llai na 4% o ymgeiswyr i Brifysgol Rhydychen o ysgolion Cymru. Bwriad Access Cymru/Wales yw annog mwy o fyfyrwyr Cymru i ystyried gwneud cais i'r Brifysgol hon. Ers cychwyn yr ymgyrch bu cynnydd o draean yn nifer yr ymgeiswyr o Gymru Brifysgol (o 388 ym 1999 i 518 yn 2003).
